put the car in the air and shake down the front end for looseness, there may be a loose TRE or bearing causing the thumping, also these cars genrally tend to eat up sway bar links so check it too

apparently that'* the (generally) dealer-installed stuff that'* like that. A local place here (Krown) is generally accepted to be good (not the cheapest, but good), and their stuff is oil-thin.

I ddnt know they had that opt. in a 96 non SSE, SSEi. I know that was available in the 95.

it was an option for the CCR in the 96 but i had to have the SLE and the L67
