I've been happy with my 4T65E. 168,000 miles and have never done ANYTHING to it. The shifts are getting mushy....especially between first and second. I'm hoping I can get another 5,000 out of it before a rebuild.

the diff was rebuilt when i had the tranny rebuilt, because that is what exploded the first time
but do you guys know what gear that might be? I know its kinda hard to tell but ya never know.

Thanks ya i though it was the diff at first aswell. I am asking about doing a 3.06 gear change while its under there as well
maybe toss in a few extra bucks and see if he will do it or not

Just my luck its not covered under warranty they said it has some thign to do with the axle? I dont know but i am selling my buick soon tis is going to cost me 275 that i dont have right now i was trying to save for the new front struts
