Default BOOM good bye tranny (PICS!!) (UPDATE!!!)

lol Hey guys about 4 months or so ago i had my tranny rebuilt on my 97sabre. Things were fine with it aside from it started sliping so i had that fixed ok no big deal. well time goes by and last night i was on my way out to go out my booze for St.pattysday and i pulled into a driveway to turn around put it in R and went to go to put it into D and BOOM fluid every where i get out to find this! gears and parts of the case are every where lol its under warranty and this better be covered but can you tell me what kinda gears these are? Thanks

its Coast to Coast transmission in kitchener ontario I knew from the start I was going to have probs with it i got to good of a deal on it. I asked them if they could firm the shifts at all and i was told NO these are ma and pa trannys you cant do things like that on these cars. You need a V8 RWD if you want to do that

4t65-e'* suck! My bonne was fine until out of nowhere the trans took a crap, now its waiting for its 3rd transmission.

173k on the original (i think) trans....it has harsh shifts but thats it. it was also 2 quarts low when I bought it. nothing on the dipstick.

rogers..those are important parts.. stuff them back in... duct tape the hole, refill with fluid. It'll be good in the morning

Glad to hear you have a warranty. That is a sign of failure if one has ever been seen.

asonofabeach... Not sure what you did to your 4t65 or if it was a lemon. Mine drove 12 hours to Ohio at 174,000miles to be rebuilt. Looked good inside for what I do to it.
