And so my post doesn't get deleted...
So how are these coming along? Do you think they will be ready for Jan '06?
If you would only buy a calendar if your car was in it, just go make your own.
This is meant to be a Bonneville Club calendar, not a >insert member name here< calendar.
Too make it easy and fair use the COTM'*, There won't be any double ups this way and there will be one big beautiful pic instead of a hodge-podge of little ones.

You really have to see both sides.

Umm..its a year long calender. and its COTM. Dont be too selfish about it. The COTMs should get that month for the same reason they were chosen to be COTM. Fairs Fair. Take for instance if you buy a calender with dogs or military craft on them, you dont own any of them but you still buy.
Lets try to make this reasonable instead of flat out selfishness by saying "Im not going to buy this cause my cars not in it. Thats just downright stupid. Grow up.

I am not mad my car is not a COTM, I don't care because quite frankly my car is not worthy. It is looking at it from a business perspective.
(Since you were the first to toss **** I will throw some back) I think you need to brush up on your critical thinking skills...Maybe I will make it a bit more simple for you...Viewing things from all (including other peoples') perspectives. You know, others' points of view. I have far too many calendars, I don't need another. Therefore, the only reason I would want to buy another is if my car was in it, because that would be special...something to collect.
There is one sale that won't be there. Its a great idea, but I really have no interest in it; if my car was in it, I would have no choice but to buy it. I hope my own car is not in it because I would rather put the $20-30 in my gas tank.
Its simple economics. The more people you appeal to, the more people will buy it. Say they only had the top 3 fastest bonnevilles in it. Very few people would like it. Say they have the 12 COTMs in it, even more people would like it. If you put the 20 most active members in it, more people would like it. If you put every active member in it, far more people would enjoy it.
I am not whining to get my car in there, I am just making a point of simple business. The entire point of business is to make money, there is no arguing that.
If you want an even better excuse of why I don't want one, here it is. I don't want to feel like I have to buy one (I would feel that way if my car was in it) because then someone on the forum would know where I live. One person knows, and that is my sister. Why don't I want people to know? You are a perfect example, you obviously have something against me. Do I fear you? No. Do I think you would come to my house even if you knew what city it was in? No. But it is generally not a good idea when you don't trust people.
Remember, you started it. BTW, you did a great job of ruining a productive thread

You guys, you are grown men. This is an idea that needs to be supported. You should both be ashamed. For gods sake, you don't add fuel to a fire, it will only get bigger!
