I dont like the idea that only COTMs get in... Who says we need only one car per month? A collage would suit the masses

I agree on that one. We have how many active members and the COTM already had they time to shine. Everyone should have a chance. That is why I let anyone that wanted a shot to submit pics, then it will get voted on( on my forum). In my calendar it will be not only modded cars but stock ones also. The only thing was that we needed a nice pic with a good background.

I like the idea of having one main car on one page, but having miscelaneous pics of other bonnies in the background. you could even put the runners up of each month is the background. That way a lot more members would feel like they have a place int he calendar. Also, ide happily pay 20 US for a one of a kind bonnie calendar, you could sell them from the club site, and include paypal!

I think Phoenix on to something here....think about it....12 or 18 cars/members featured compared to 3 x'* that many....increase the # of members and you'll increase the # of sales.

Go with the COTM'*. If you start throwing in every car, you're going to run out of cars to show off. I don't want to get a calendar and have it with car'* that were in the previous year'* calendar. :?

I'm going to throw in my opinion because I think its unbiased (I'm not going to be in it either way, so I have no stake in it). While I can see both sides of this, doint COTM for each respective month would 1) make it fair (these cars have been chosen for a reason already, plus it seems pretty much long standing members have been COTM, and its fair that they make it in) and 2) make it simple (no ruling out so and so'* car, no deciding qualifications and plus then you already know what order people go in). There will be other years and other calendars (hopefully) for everyone to make it into.

Now...on the otherhand, if you wanted to maybe in the corner of every month where theres an extra couple of squares (since the months start in a middle of the week) put a small pic of a different car or two that would be cool...except I almost think it would be cooler if it were shots of the main pictured car.

Just my two cents...

I know there are time restrictions and doing COTM would help meet deadlines...

But from a buyer perspective, (call me a fuddy duddy) but I wouldn't buy one if my car wasn't in it. I probably would if it was. I understand that my car really isn't special as far as bonneville'* are concerned, but the only reason to buy one with just COTM'* would be cause you are totally obsessed with bonneville'* in general.

Wow, but to keep my butt on the fence where it usually is...

It would make a nicer calendar to have a bit pic of the COTM, then a bunch of smaller ones of the same car (engine shots, closeups of the front, doing a burnout, you get the idea).

Hmmm...I don't think I have said anything anyone else hasnt....

I agree with you completely, Logan. I'm more likely to buy one than you if neither of us were featured, but it would be alot more likely that others would buy.

Neither of my cars (well, my Honda was) were featured. I'm kindof exempt from COTM.
