If so then thats perfect, I can keep the centre cap and not have the dart there. Or go to a custom rim shop and get just regular chrome plated plastic caps OR buy OEM Aurora caps from the 2000+ 17" rim. As long as the Aurora cap is the same diameter as the Bonneville rim cap

Whatever works best I assume is what I will do
No, no...you are thinking too much here. If the dart is an adhesive decal, you either scrape it off or put a new emblem over the top. If the dart is molded into the center cap, then you grind it smooth with a Dremel and cover it with a new emblem, capish?

In either case, you keep your center caps!

Even though the chromes don't match due to limitations of PS, gotta say, that looks sweet!!! I hope that option works!

I'll bring one of the rims to my cousin'* house tomorrow Jim. I'll take his center cap out and put it in your rim. See if it works.

Jim, try and seperate the chrome outer piece from the cap and see if you can make a new flat one that could be painted chrome. It looked like the tabs wrapped around the back side of the cap.

Well forget about the Aurora caps

$88.99 per cap...$400 + after taxes...ah no

Back to the drawing board, Radrick just may go with your suggestion in the end
