Anything to look out for in a really low-mileage car?

I don't think the mileage you're representing counts as ridiculously low (to the point where you need to worry about anything). My 97 has just over 85000 miles on it and I drive it almost every day. I just live fairly central to where I work and shop. Yes, I realize that 85000 is considered "low mileage" for a 97, but it isn't like the car sits for weeks without being driven. Plus, we have my wife'* 01 Grand Prix GT, and when we go places together sometimes we drive her car, sometimes we drive mine. But my car gets driven every week, and is meticulously maintained.
If the cars you are looking at have sat undriven for several years, then you'd want to know what kind of environment they've sat in, whether they sat exposed through cold winters and hot summers. Growing up my Dad had a car that we let sit outside in Ohio for a couple years before fixing the tranny. When we made it roadworthy again, every belt had dry-rotted, the tires had dry-rotted, water leaks pooled in the trunk causing rusting, the brake disks had rusted, some of the fluids leaked, and mice made a nest in a parcel shelf speaker. So sitting unused can be hard on a car. On the other hand, sitting in a garage in California might have almost no effect on a car. So find out the driving history of the cars, if you can.

i was going to look at and most likely buy a 92 SSEi same color as mine, matching red 11 slat rims with only 47,000 original miles on it, however, i would of seen most of the same problems if not more with it that i saw with my 93 when i bought it with 97,000 miles on it, which is now at 112,000 probably the most its been driven in years..
People dont tend to maintain vehicels that sit alot, something to watch for

If thats the case I may go instead for the 97 which is closer to me and has 105k. I did some more research and it turns out the 4t65 isnt as bad as I thought it was.
Going off topic but its just a quick question, typically how much does it cost for tranny rebuilds?

my rebuild on my 99 GTP 4T65 was $2000.00 here in good ole mississippi
it only had 83000 miles on it when it failed but overall it was good, and after the rebuild, it was fantastic. and moms 94SSE has 193XXX on the body the engine however has about 150000 or so on it now, so again it depends on how well the car was maintained and what not, my 92 SSEi has 153XXX on it, and is going strong

My 93 had a host of problems when I purchased it three years ago. It had been stored for 5 years. Long-term storage can be a problem. If it'* been driven at least once a week, it would be better.
