Going to look at a parts car. Anyone need anything?
Next week I'm going to take a look at a parts car. It'* a black 93 SE with tan interior. I'll be taking the front leather seats, console, dash, rear bumper cover (providing it doens't look hideous on my SSEi), grab handles, front door hinges and a couple other little trim pieces. Anyone looking for some parts? The ad states that it needs a new motor so I don't thing that is anything anyone would want.

The rear bumper cover will look hideous. It won't match the lower door trim, and doesn't have the cutouts for the exhaust.
The seats are likely to be totally different, too, unless you're only after the leather covers.

I'm actually going to take a look at it tomorrow morning. The seller is asking $500 for the whole car. I'd like to take what I need and offer the rest to members cheap.

Well if you do decide to get it I'd be willing to buy the outter tail lights providing they're in okay condition. If the posts are broken or the nuts are missing I don't care I can fix that. Also one of the cargo net tie-downs. Those buggers are hard to find. I have a feeling the reading lamp assembly for the passengers is tan but if its black. . . I have a busted one that needs replaced. If you do decide to buy it, I'm interested in those parts.

We agreed on a selling price. I think I scored big! I should have it here Monday or Tuesday. Here'* some pics:
The car overall is in remarkable condition. It'* a shame that the motor is shot. But the death of one leads to the rebirth of many I suppose. Take a look at the passenger seat. Not too many fannies came into contact with it.
Phish, you have dibbs on the taillights and the cargo net anchor if there is some in there (that'* one thing I didn't look for). Some other notable parts that will be for sale are the front fenders, bumper covers, new cat and front pipe, etc.
Once I determine all that I will be using I will post another thread in the For Sale forum.
