Im thinking of getting a flip top one. How is the after market for sun roofs. I know Its all in who you go too but how is it in general?

Would adding one incread weight? reduce weight or would it be about the same?

I'm probably going to get one in my car. Though I've heard of several people who have had leaking problems from aftermarket moonroofs. I am a VIP customer at this place so hopefully they'll be extra careful installing it. If I had to guess, it would probably add a few pounds, if you're talking about a power sunroof.

All I want is a cheapy flip top one. Im not a fancy guy or anything

My car had had an aftermarket moonroof put in, and it was a genuine PITA to replace the headliner after it started sagging.

I've got an after market moon roof in my truck...biggest one you've ever seen...think G6. No leaks, no problems. Just Rite put it in and everyone usually thinks it came off the factory like like that.

CFoote has one in his Bonne and it also looks great, you'd never know. No leaks that I know of...we could ask him...but he'* sleeping already.
