almost have my 70 gto ready for the road. i put in a new hei distributor and it runs awesome now. however , now the tranny is whining when i put it into any gear. its coming from the front of the trans. used a stethescope to verify it. its a rebuilt trans with ZERO miles on it. it was redone last year. didnt have this problem before i put dist in., but i think that is just a coincidence. i suspect the pump is the culprit, but im guessing. does not whine in neutral or park. any ideas ?? im pissed !!

trans has been in the car for a year. only have moved it in and out of the garage and havent had a problem till now.
