This is why I want to start carrying a fire extinguisher in my car.

Bill Wren had a small fire in his 93 once (tranny lines blew I believe). He luckily stopped it in time (obviously).

Interesting thing about the pictures. The hottest part was driver front by fender. Not at the fuel rail in the middle of the hood.

Anyone confirm that the fusebox or one of them is located driverside front?

Paul.. your Ford was probably the cruise control...a known Ford issue that they've had recalled right?

And why would you buy a new fuel rail? O rings are replaceable...BUT...can you confirm for me what is located in that front DS corner?....I know the fuel rail isn't located there.

When my father and I used to go to the used auto auctions I saw several GTP that had fuel fires.
