hey just wondering if anyone else has an air compressor in their trunk or if the idoit that had my car before me put it in? i got a 92 ssei...and i got it in the trunk...and that stupid pump runs for like 3 seconds every 10 min 24/7 and if i dont drive my car for a couple days its dead...anyone else has this stupid addition?

I have this feature in my '93. Never had a problem with it. Actually, it'* been very cool to deal with bicycle tires, etc.

Most people don't realize when they buy their cars that the main reason for the pump is the rear suspension. If it'* leaking, it'* on the strut side of the circuit.

That air pump is one of the cool gimmicks that you buy a Bonnie for! I use mine to fill up my tires at the drag strip.

You could try at a local junk yard, i would start there, then if not try the dreaded dealer that over charges...
