Its not bang on but it does match closely.
I guess cause its led screen and the dash is a lit face?

so the pontiac symbol comes up every time you start the car? And does it show the MPG?

Yes it displays the logo each time you start the car, while the other gauges are doing the sweep thing.
No it doesnt do trips or mpg but the dic already has all that. Would be nice to have built in features simillar to a Gtech though.
