Looks great. You used your prize winnings well.
Let us know how it holds up over time. I remember you saying that the GP guys had a problem with it.

That was the security issue in 2000 Gp'* only. The gauge gets its power from the obd connector, the security system didnt like the pcm being scanned with the ignition off.
As a fix they built a harness with a seperate 12 volt feed from the obd connector.
There wont be any security issues now, the gauage powers down with key off.

Awesome job PDad! Looks like a factory installed gauge.

Drifter mentioned that he would want two. Can you have multiple units running at the same time?? that looks like something I need for Frankenbonne.

EDIT. I should have clicked on your link. Sometimes I feel like such a Noob

This scan tool is great!!
you can adjust the scan rate and scroll the recorded data for up to 40 sec. more than enough time to stage and make a 1/4 mile pass
Are you saying that you can actually recall stored data with it? How? I don't see any buttons or *****.
Can it be safely disconnected and reconnected at the port?
If this is all true, I'm really liking it now.

Very Nice O'Neil, in fact thats right where mine is (top vent has the timing commander). INTENSE will be selling these gauges shortly.

Nice Job!

Yes the gauge has memory and records for up to 40 sec using the existing buttons, theres only two but easy to use. Also you press the button and it doesnt record untill you are at 50% throttle and engine load exceeds 65%, this way your hands are full of steering wheel instead of plyaing with the gauge

To play back (40 frames sec of data) just scroll to the 'play button, you can then cycle through the various parameters (ie kr, maf, rpm etc) and grab specific time slots.

It does not connect to a lap top so you cant plot graphs etc, but it is very usefull and will come in handy at the track.
