Default AC Delco and Delphi the same?(edited with new question)

Is Delphi the new ACDelco? Needing to get an oxygen sensor soon, local choices are Bosch and Delphi.

Edit, Wiki says ACDelco is just a name and Delphi makes parts for GM now.

Got a Bosch for now since time was a little tight, it was all they had anyways.Car had been setting a code 13 all day. I will get an ACDelco/Delphi/better brand soon.

NOW.....the old O2 sensor was covered with deposits about the same color as the valve cover, light tan. Other cars I have changed were always black and sooty. So which was normal?

Dont believe everything you read in Wiki, for sure. AC Delco is a GM company. Delphi is one of GM'* major vendors and now GM has a financial stake in it because it has money problems that include XM radio. But it is an independent entity that doesnt rely on the auto industry by any means. They makes parts for manufacturers of many different makes. As well they make a diverse collection of industrial computers and equipment, fuel cells, cable and wire, microelectronics, railroad diesel management systems, medical devices and list goes on and on.
