Congrat Jim! Feel free to ask me any Aurora questions since my last ride was a 96 Aurora, had for 3 years and racked up 50K on her.

The oil leak thing is mostly on the 4.6'* not the Aurora'* 4.0. The leask had to do with worn cyclinder rings. Not really bad for the engine, the car just burns some oil. Even new the Northstar is designed to burn a little oil, that'* why it take 7.5 Qts of Oil. I always watched the jiffy lube person, make sure they put in 7.5, I've caught them only putting in 5 qts more than once.

Thanks for the good info Taylor, the good news is the Rora, has been certified, safetied and emissions tested. All I have to do is hand over a cheque for the balance owing and sign the ownership papers.

Oh Taylor...one question (since no one cars about my thread in Audio ) Did your Aurora have the trunk mounted CD changer? When I open the slide gate, the cartridge does not like to pop out. How easy is it to "unstuck" the cartridge. I didn't want to rip off the faceplate considering I didn't own the car at the time :?
