Wait for an "i" to show up. Granted the Aurora is a nice ride to cruise in, but just doesnt have the appeal of a Bonneville IMO. :?

Won't get the torque out of it, and its insurance might be more cause it'* a V8, and it'* generally a more expensive car. They are nice and all, and i'd love one i'm sure, but they don't have neary the muscular look of the Bonnie. I'd say stick it out for a nice bonnie, maybe even check out that one for 2500 USD the guy posted here, Wait it'* a 95 SE SC so it'* faster cause it'* lighter, and it still is loaded.

1000th POST BABY!!!!!!!!! Yes jim i did it for you, now i'm certified...

The first gen Aurora looks too much like a Jetsons bubble. I do like the second gen (I think it came out in 2001 or 2002). They also corrected a lot of the first gen problems with that version.

89BonnieSE89, You brought back some old memories. Here are some pics of the 1999 that I leased in Jul, 99. I leased it for 3 years and really enjoyed it. The one option that it had was the heated front seats which came in real handy during the winters here. That was my last lease car. Turned it in in Jul, 02 and walked away. I just couldn't see getting into another lease due to the medical condition I had at the time. The FAA grounded me for a three year observation period before I can resume my flying duties.

Have you ever seen an Aurora slammed? Very nice. There are also many new mods available and you can get chips for the 1995 Aurora as well. This means the transaxle that can easily take 400hp with the ability to get there without all the winding up.

I love the 8.

That said you will have many of the same issues we have with the Bonneville so don’t think a caddy or a olds will save you from all the problems encountered with the Bonneville.

89BonnieSE89, When I turned it in it only had 32,000 miles on it. I really babied that car. The V-8 had some awsome power. One neat feature it had was the pass side rear view mirror would tilt down when you put it in reverse to assist in parking.
