Well....it'* not a matter of choosing one or the other. It'* either the Aurora only or both. I HATE having to pass up an awesome deal on a cool car. I can get this car for an awesome price!!! Hey...what do you all pay for insurance out there? I've looked and most places want like $600-700/year...heck I wouldn't pay much more than that for the car!! I'll try to get some pics up tonight if I can figure it out.

Rock and a hard place. Not much you can really do eh? I mean logic says you dont part with an 04 and a 98. If anything, try to convnice her that the insurance on the SSEi will be so low considering its only going to be an occasional car.

Trade the Vibe? Take the cash, let her drive the SSEi (or the Rora and you drive the SSEi) problem solved.

Or she insists on have a "cute lil truck thing" right?

I say keep em all. It is handy to have a backup vehicle just in case one of the others break down. Just remember that you get more with honey than you do with vinegar. As you fix it up she just may like it so much that she will want that for HER car. You never know.

Since you posted it, I think deep inside you really just want that Bonnie! I would say find something else to get rid of worth the amount of the Bonnie. if you don't have any other items you can get rid of then, convince the lady that this car is more of an investment than a money pit!

What she said!! lol

Seriously, depending on your state and insurance situation, holding costs for a 3rd vehicle can be silly low. My truck costs 14 bucks a month for the insurance and 20 bucks a year for the tag/registration. If I dont drive it, thats all it costs me. It has came in handy more than a few times, when the Bonney breaks something before payday and she needs something to drive. Heck. I drove it for a month while I had the Malibu apart for blown intake/head gaskets. The mild downside to having 3 vehicles is family members always wanting to permanantly "borrow" them LOL.

Having said that, if she wont bend, its not worth marital strife. when it all boils down, it is just a car (snif, I feel so disloyal for saying that)

Keep the Rora, and suddenly "aquire" the SSEi, tell her your brother WANTED you to have it and that he would be heart broken if you turned it down.
lol...

Well..I'm hoping the "selling one thing for another" strategy may work. Shes been on me to sell my motorcycle, which I"m not opposed to. I used to ride it a lot, but now just don't feel as safe living in a place w/more traffic than I did before. The thing is.....the only thing I really use my bike for is to go run get parts for my Aurora if I"m working on it. Well.without my bike, what will I do. She loves my Aurora....maybe she can drive that, and I'll use the Vibe and Bonneville. I'm trying to figure it all out b/c while I have the SC off, it'* much easier to reach plugs, etc to change things out. If its just going to be sold...well, I'll just leave em. Anyways....thanks for the input guys....I really like the female ideas. Your right....honey, not vinegar!!
