Default 94 SSEi controversy - I want it, she doesn't!!

Hey guys...my fiance' and I are having a bit of an argument. I'm fixing up my brother in laws 94 SSEi so he can sell it....and I get half of what he sells it for. The dealer wanted like 4K to replace/repair the SC and Harmonic Balancer..I said I'd do it. Anyways, I could buy the car cheap from my bro-in-law, which I want to do since I think its cool and I have put some time into it too. My fiance' doesn't think we should get it...says we already have 2 cars and don't need something else to maintain, insure, etc. Basically, we could spend that money on other things we need more. In her defense, she'* more or less supporting me while I'm back in school now..but I am really starting to like the car the more I work on it!!! I guess when I fix things, I do it like it'* mine...not like I'm just gonna get rid of it. In other words...I do it right and take care of the details.

anyone have an opinion???

You could sell one and then buy the bonne?

Tell her its an investment and you plan on fixing it up for a higher resale later?

I kinda want a 3rd car for us...for when one is in the shop, etc. Besides, I'd like to have the Bonne to play with. I love my Aurora and really want to keep that. It'* only got like 80k on it and is in great shape.

ut oh, man/woman thing.

BTDT LOTSA times. I usually lose LOL. She DID grant me the privelage of buying a wrecked 1992 Chevy Van for the engine/trans, PROVIDED I had it in and out in 30 days. Took about 45 days and I paid dearly for the extra 15 LOL.

Seriously, sometimes our beloveds dont share our visions, pretty tough to get around it. Personally, I am with you, would LOVE to have a 94 SSEi
