I'm thinking of picking up a 94 Black on Tan SSEi. It has 155k miles and needs a */C coupler, LIM'*, oil pressure switch and a tune up. A buddy of mine drove it and was thinking about buying it for a beater and based on what he said, it sounds like it needs a wheel bearing aswell. The guy who has it is asking $800 for it. The mechanical work I would myself, nothing major I haven't done before.

Outside of the mechanical issues it is in great shape for a 94, the interior is close to mint (a few stains here and there), a few scratches in the paint and the right bright washer jet is missing.

Opinions on if it'* a good buy.

its a bonneville, and its a 3800 series engine, it will last till the end of time, i would say buy it
