Default 91 bonnie oil filter

Well, I was in the middle of changing the oil and oil filter but I have a big problem; I can't get the oil filter off! It is hard to reach up in to unscrew it and when I do get a grip on it, it is tightened beyond reason. Is there any trick to getting it off quickly and easily? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe there is an oil filter remover strap tool that you can buy. Not sure what it is called, but I could have sworn I've seen something like it :?

you'll have a little more room if your tire is removed also.

They make special wrecnchs for that purpose. Or you could just jam a screw driver through it and then turn it, kinda messy tho.

This is one option or you can get a filter wrench cup that works on a 3/8" ratchet too! if you go with the "remove tire" option, you go through the plastic access panel that protects the engine from wheel splash.
