General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

But there are a lot of guys that don't know the first thing on how to work on cars. I don't know much about cars but I have done some stuff through the years. Changed out an alternator on my Olds 88, Changed wires, plugs, & distributor cap on my Pontiac Ventura (1st car I ever owned). I enjoy learning new things.

I usually love working on my car. I was looking forwarward to this job. Things went south when I was having problems with the motor mount and really busting up my hands. I am doing the brakes next weekend. I will be painting my drums too. Can't wait for that.
