Default 3800 Series II Supercharged Water Pump Replacement questions

Seems pretty straight forward. I see people posting that the power stearing pump needs to be taken off. Is that right for a 2003 ssei bonneville? I don't think it does. Doing the coolant elbows today hopefully. They just failed after 60'000 miles thought that was lucky. Is there any write ups with pictures showing how to do the water pump on a sc car? I can't even seem to find the how to section any more. Looking forward to the replies.

I added a picture as well to help refer to what I'm looking at.

If your engine looks like the picture, no it doesn't......because the ps pulley is not covering any wp bolts....

Ok. I'll have to double check but it looks like what I have. Just much cleaner of course haha.

Any torque specs for the world bolts? Also doing the coolant elbows. Any torque specs on those? Everything I found here is for 95-99. I'm gonna guess it doesn't make a difference but want to be sure.

I carry the 'umph tight on 3/8" drive' is usually fine. Just don't overdo it.

Also, if you are doing elbows, make sure to get the metal ones, and don't settle for the same old plastics.

Yea I got that the metal elbows. Seems to be that on one bolt from the water pump is blocked by the smooth idler pully so I have to take off the super charger belt. Any idea what size that torex that is on there?

Everything went super easy. Only thing I can't find is what torque settings for the bolts for the pully cover on the water pump. Any ideas?
