throttle control and stuff is electronic, and anyone with a computer knows how much electronic stuff likes to die on you. I wouldnt want to be driving down the road and have my engine get a fatal error or something...

lol...or you start it, and it automatically shifts into drive and goes WOT in the parking lot...Suddenly I like my series II better.

Yea, just yesterday, my friend'* car wouldn't start because there was simply a pinched wire for the fuel injector power. Cars rely on electronics so much now. I see nothing wrong with mechancal stuff if it'* proven effective.
