It also depends on what gearing the 1994 has as well as the 2001. Is the 1994 a SLE (RPO code H4U which can be found on the spare tire cover)? If so it has the highest gear ratio of any 1992-1996 (3.06 in th SLE vs 2.97 on the SSEi and 2.84 in the SE).
I don't know what the 2001 would have for sure, but I'm guessing it has the same gear ratio as the Grand Prix GT which has a 3.29 gear ratio. If so it would be a very tight race.
Be sure to video-tape it if you do go to a drag strip.

you've driven both? so you should know which is faster.....the 94 probably has some miles on it robbing some power. my money'* on the 02

Cayuga'* the closest I know of.

There is one southwest on London Ontario, and there is another on near Batavia NY. All about 2-3 hrs from Toronto.

Found a directory for Canadian Drag Strips. The hubby is a little aprehensive about us drag racing, he doesn't like the idea of me going out there, cause i've never raced before, and the fact we just put a new tranny in the 01. Still working on him though
