I'm guessing probably you, as the bonneville was built with legs, but I dunno what the MB weighs. Anybody know the curb weight?

It will beat you. It might be close for the quarter, since you run a mid 15 and the SLK runs a 15 flat. But after that it will get painful. They have 5spd autos and like any MB, love triple digits (which the Bonnie doesn't do so well on).

well, i'm gonna see. One of my good friends dad'* has a MB 230 Kompressor..so were gonna do a 1/4 mile race one of these nights..i'll keep ya updated. I was wondering if the HP came into factor though? Mine has 20 more HP than his. I know his weighs alot less though so it might even out. I've driven it and it'* nothign to brag about though.

Easiest way to find out is..
Weight divided by HP
for both cars... the ones with the lesser number will win ( in theory not counting all outher factors into equastion ) since it has to carry less weight..

The Mercedes will win, they spend more money, they will win... Plus it weighs less than our Bonneville, its not always about how much HP you have, but its also weight that makes a big difference. And putting the power to the ground is also a big factor. Since we our FWD we can't launch as well. Plus our engines make power after 3k rpms, they make it lower... Go for it but they are tough, they spent more money than you did so they get more car.
