Marauder will own over a long time cause it sports the 4.6L Police rated Interceptor engine in it. Thats the basis for the marauder is a civilian based non police model matching the Interceptor Crown Vic. So in terms of wear and tear plus overall ratings, the marauders going to outlast anything in its class. Look at how PIs[police cars] run. They last, theres your marauder for ya.

Jim, I respect your comments on the Northstar being underrated by GM, as I know most of their motors are, but Scott Cook'* initial numbers off the dyno with his GXP were disappointing, and the one I drove was too. I'm wondering if there'* more torque managment in that PCM.
There just aint too many Mauraduers out there. In the past 3 years I have seen maybe 2 different ones. I love the box looks of this car, there are too many "curvy" cars out on the road today.
The Ford V8 is gonna last forever, the Northstar will have issues down the road. Frankly the Maurader is BUILT IMO, and it is a muscle car. It also has a real aftermarket. It looks more like a "car" then the GXP. Also you'll get a lot of people thinkin your a cop till you fly by and they see your chrome tips. :P
Then again, toss in a 5.4L Supercharged V8 and you'd mess up a lot of folks...
