I'm already running the oversized tensioner. I noticed the same thing on my alternator when I changed belts, so I pretty much figure the new SC belt just needs broke in. If it persists, then it'* getting changed to a Gatorback .

I figured since I'm running 24* IAT above ambient, a CAI or FWI might cure a lot of the problem, and that'* in the works. PEMs and rockers are the two next mods after that, PEMs being the first of the two. First comes the FWI. Good thing I'm already running two ranges colder than stock. I'd hate to see what the KR on one range colder would be.

I don't run WOT very much (only when I feel like getting on it just for the hell of it), so I'm not pushing the point to make those changes right now. It'* fine running highway speeds. Springtime is when I'll be more concerned.

Thanks willwren. Your advice is much appriciated.

Keep in mind that as long as both knock sensors are working correctly, you're safe from damage. But only as long as those sensors are good.

Besides, in this weather, who can WOT very often anyway?
