Default No boost on the positive side!

Oh what a happy day this is, as I put my little $26 bypass-valve on the supercharger a little while ago. Kaboom!!!!!! it is fixed. Runs right up to 7-8 lbs. of boost with little effort. Thanks to all of you who were quick to respond and get me fixed up. Sorry I drug you through the dealership, only to end up getting ridiculed and belittled. Anyway, ..... the fact is, you were right and they were wrong. The sad part to me is, that they were to full of themselves to learn something that might help them for the next guy that comes to their counter for help.

God bless,

Hawkman

P.*. Next topic; what mods can one do to get the most bang for his buck and still maintain the dependability/reliability of the supercharger?

Pulley and intake. Your SC will still outlast the drivetrain with minor maintenance.

Hawkman, can you put "2003 SSEi" in your signature? It'll help answer questions like these.

ZZP and INTENSE both have good pulley systems as well as Pulley Boys. It'* all in what you want for the future. If you plan to do more work to the car, a Modular system would be best. If not, a simple pulley will do.

just to add a little, dont go smaller than 3.4 right now with a Fender well intake.

Im happy that you regain boost! happen to me in the beginning of summer, my car was for sale and as soon as i tryed it with boost it wasnt for sale anymore

you will love the stronger pull of the 3.4, i got mine since the beginning of summer, no problem.
another bang for the buck i got was high flow cat (magnaflow or carsound)
really woke it up at mid-to-high rpm.

stock: 15.2@ 92
3.4 + fenderwell intake, colder plugs : 14.926 @ 93.7 mph ( at 22 celcius)
+high flow cat: 14.673@ 95.5 mph (at 12 celcius)

good luck

Default A couple of weeks on the POSITIVE SIDE!

Just wanted to let you all know how good it feels to be on the Positive Side. It is a joy to pass cars on a 2 lane highway again, without spending the additional time in the other lane. These cars are really fun to drive.!!!!! Thanks again for all of the tech help.
