Spoke with Marty on the phone tonight. He'* going to check this topic and look more closely.

On the SSEi'*, the MAP sensor feeds off the vacuum line that feeds the FPR. I tapped the same line on my SLE/SC. I'm reading manifold vac, and boost, but not at the same levels as I expected. Not sure if it'* the gauge or if I have a slight leak. I'm reading 30vac and 7psi boost at WOT. Should be 8-8.5 from what I recall on the 93, except this is a slightly different blower with a higher VE. Is 7 stock typical in the 95 SSEi'* bone stock? If so, this is working ok.

I do believe that 7 is pretty much dead on for stock.

Probably due to the increased flow with the higher VE rotors in the 94/95 blowers. Spank you very much sir. (It was hot outside, too, and I'm running a stock pulley without an intake/cone setup on Boost2).

95 stock is right at 7 as well it'* right about there on 97 also. 97 right before the shift will touch 8-9 but it'* a fraction of a second.

The fuel system goes straight from the tables/maf, not the MAP sensor? Hrm...That could be a lil balsy..

Interesting info. Could a MAP be added? How does everyone else add a boost gauge so far, use a t fitting in the vac lines near the MAP?

To the best of my knowledge, no Series 1 car has added one until now. The MAP sensor in a car with a boost gauge from the factory is Teed off from the FPR line. That'* what I did. It'* 4mm tubing, and the gauge is 1/8" tube. I made a 4x4x.125 prestolock Tee.

Works like a charm.

By chance the MAP wouldn't be integral with the PCM like the 2.2/2.5 Turbo Dodges were in 1990/91/92, after having frame-rail mounted MAP'* in 1985-1989 (no MAP'* on the 1984 2.2 turbo)?

I looked and found no MAP (I know exactly where it is because I swapped the MAP off my mom'* 1993 Park Avenue onto my cousins 1992 SSE SC for testing purposes awhile back.

I don't remember if my sister'* 1995 Riviera L67 had a MAP either, even though I did plenty under hood work/detailing on that when she put it up for sale.

I am going to NAPA tomorrow (Sunday if I can't get there tomorrow due to track day), and I'll take an old Daytona turbo boost guage (only reads -15 vacuum though, but up to 15 psi boost) and check to see what it shows for boost, as well as put my high speed fan switch in.
Tonight I have to do the BCS mod -I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY have lag time when I down shift manually with the go pedal welded to the floorboard. Like a full 1-2 seconds worth.

The emission sticker on my riv shows a map sensor. Not sure what for though, no boost gauge came with my rig. It is the giant black box near the firewall. I just bougth a boost gauge on ebay and will try it out. I will take a pic of the sticker as well to shed more light on this. ( I will post a pic later when I get my phone charged)

Dave, your Riv has no MAP sensor that I'm aware of. My boss has your car'* twin. I'm very familiar with the SC Riv.
