Default Unknown Wire

Anyone know where this wire goes to? I removed the air box to replace a bad headlight and discovered this wire just hanging there.

Probably the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor - someone will confirm.

no.. that wire comes more from the firewall direction...

possbile foglight?

no, fog light comes right off the headlight harness.

is it one conductor or two?

do you have a multimeter?

see the round thing sticking out from under your PCM ?

you can see it in the first picture. between the connector and the pcm box
