Default Trunk Wiring Question...

i got a new trunk lid and its wired but i dont want to cut my harness on my car... So can i take the wiring outta my trunk lid and is there any trick to it?

Sure, just unhook and gently work it out of the lid..then reinstall on the new lid.

What do you mean trick it?

Nope, no trick. Just make sure you disconnect everything first. To make it easier on yourself, when you remove the wiring from your new trunk, tie a long string to it and pull it out the end where it was cut. This way, to get the wires back in, you just tie the string onto the wiring harness from your car and pull it back through.

I did this when I swapped my trunk to the 96+ and it worked well.
