Default 97 Trunk Wiring Diagram

ok... I need the wiring diagram for the wires that go to the trunk lid. Specifically, I need to know which wires do what. I need to make a connector for the 97 trunklid I have.

Do you still need this. I have the 97 FSM open for james' security light problem. Wiring diagrams are H***, but I can try to help.

Bob...I'm not sure where he stands. I had Randy'* 97 book here and I agree. Torture. Only thing I didn't aim to him was the reverse lights. Couldn't find them.

Thank god you gave him something. I want to help where I can, but I was sweatin' this one. I could see, like, 445, replies, as I ask/try to explain/look in manual/find wires/ask/try to explain/look in manual/find wires....................anyway, reverse lights wires are light green according to my FSM, Chilton'* and Haynes, if that helps.

yeah, I have decided to just try and reuse the wiring harness that is on my trunk lid if possible. I have put the project on pause though as i need the hinges first.

Cool. I saw that nobody had originally "formally" replied and was trying to give back to the club where/when i can. BTW, my Haynes manual, FWIW, shows same electrical diagram for 93-99 for taillights, back up lights, trunk release, etc. etc. so hopefully you can reuse your existing harness. If you need anything else, let me know and I will give it a shot. Heading out for WCBF 05 on Wednesday morning, so I might not be able to get back to you until next week (unless we have a mobile command post or invade Bill'* house in Oregon to link up to the club site).
