trunk compressor
Is the compressor plugged in? Check under the hood on the driver'* side fender well. Should be a 6 pin flat connector. Make sure it'* properly seated. Even try plugging it in and out a few times.

Yes, my 97'* seems to have stopped working, even though the compressor was running. I didn't actually check the ELC, but I am pretty sure rear suspension had been bottoming.
I believe mine was a problem with the valving in the compressor head. I checked and GM will sell m a new compressor for only a thousand Canadian dollars. The head alone is about 300. I took the head off and blew out crap and wiggled valves and stuff... retorqued it and now it "works".
I didn't have new gaskets or anything .... this was just a "what the hell" excercise.... so I think it is leaking around the head, but it does "work". I gotta go back in there and maybe seal the gasket with some kind of goo.
Tried to find a source of aftermarket parts for this but no go so far.
