Default Scanner to buy

What'* a good but not terribly expensive scanner to buy. I would like to read the HVAC codes and transmission codes as well as engine codes.

Who likes what they've bought?

I doubt your going to get HVAC and tranny codes for cheap. I've got the Auto XRay 5000. Cost me $400, but I think it was worth it
