Drifter, my local AZ doesn't have them any more, but I also noticed that you and I use different part numbers for the reverse lights. Your best bet is to go there, look it up (I think yours are 3156? Mine were 1141?) at the store, and see if they have a halogen replacement.

Can someone verify that 3156 is correct for a 97? I know earlier years weren't.

Here'* a link to one I found on the 'net.

Spank you very much.

WARNING. That'* not true for all years, but my bet is 96-99.

92-95 should follow the guide in Techinfo.

If you go to the link I posted, you can select your specific vehicle to verify what bulbs go where. They're pretty dang thorough with thier list.....

Must be a thing..

Went to crappy tire and it'* listed as 1156 so the beginning is different.. damm canucks

Anywho.. they do have halogen equiivalant for it.. It was a pita to remove the old one as it was rusted into the socket and looked like original.. not bad for 8 year old bulbs I guess, and had to hack and cut the old bulbs out... so when I have some time, I will have to take everything out and attempt to seal the whole unit so no water gets in

It does seem brighter, but I need to hit a complete dark road to see if there is a big difference
