I have seen this somewhere before posted ...
What blubs do I need to use to raise the reverse light power? I am tinting my windows monday and probably could use brighter reverse bulbs.

WARNING:
Make sure that bulb is fully seated in the socket. It can get hot enough to melt the lens.
Keep in mind the SSE/SSEi tail reverse lens and reflector are better than the SE/SLE tail reverse lens and reflector. The SSE/SSEi puts out much more light naturally.
My old halogen reverse lights are still running strong, and they don't mess with the lamp monitor for SSE/SSEi'*.

I have GE nighthawks, they're brighter than the regular halogens. I picked a pack up at Walmart and they were well worth the slightly higher price. I liked them so much I changed all my taillights with them.
What 'regular' halogens are you talking about? Stock tails are not halogen to begin with. And you cannot get brighter than halogen. You may have INCANDECENTS that are bright than stock, but not likely more than 10%.
My halogens are 250% brighter than stock.
