Hi, I have the following issue:
when the instrument dimmer switch is in control mode, ie when it is supposed to control the intensity of the dash panel, all instrument lights below the speedometer cluster is off as well as no power to the radio. When checking power, I checked the power to the cigar light and it is is between 3-8 VDC (battery is at above 12 VDC) dependant on if the parking light switch is turned or not (also swithcing on the instrument lights). Once the dimmer switch is pushed to full interior light (snapping over to the full interior light mode), then all instrument lights come on again and the radio works - but then I have to drive with the interior lights on all the time...!

My conclusion is that I seem to have a problem with the resistance/control of the instrument dimmer but, if so, why does the speedometer panel cluster work while the lower part (climate control and radio) does not?
