Default Power window problem

Right before my trip to Chicago my power window switches on my driver side would stop working and then start working again. Now they have quit all together. The passengers still have control. Its just my switches that don't. Could thhis be a short or what?

If it were a short, you would be blowing fuses (circuit breakers in this case) and the other switches would not function. It sounds like more of a master switch problem. Check the connection of the power wire (usually pink) where it connects to the master switch. Might just be crudded up a bit.

You'll wanna pull the door panel, and push the plate into the switch box .
