Default $%^$*^%#^*%$%^)&*(&%!!!!!!!! Alternator!

Puked on me this morning. Limped in to work on 9 volts. Trans wouldn't shift out of 3rd. This is a warranty replacement alternator that went in just before WCBF.

That'* 3 in two years, all for different types of failures.

First DP 160 had a case seperation, causing a front bearing and shaft failure. Replacement was shipped with the wrong pulley, shredding 2 belts at WCBF/Woodburn Dragstrip. Swapped pulley from failed unit to warranty replacement, ran fine for a month until this morning. Total electrical failure.

Sorry to hear, how is the belt tension? Too much will take out the bearings.

Bearings are fine and smooth. Mechanically perfect unit, total electrical failure only.
