Thumbs up Please help out?

Hey guys, I have spent the last 1.5 hours searching these forums and still want to ask a dumb question. the battery in my 94 ssei will not hold a charge. I have checked to make sure nothing is left on. My thoughts are that the battery is just too old. I am not sure how old as I just got the car. When I picked it up, I drove around town a while and made several stops and it wouls start all the time. One stop was over two hours long. The car sat for about 6 to 7 month before I bought it so I am thinking on replacing the battery. Would like an opinion from the experts. Thanks in advance James.

Car batteries do not like to be run down. They tend to not hold a charge once that happens. Being parked that long the batter would have gone dead. Take it to a place like batteries plus and have them do a load test. If it'* bad, that will tell you.
