OMG... $400... Wow

By chance have you check those relays yet? In looking at the way the system is set up there is a chance that the Drivers door lock Isolation relay may be bad..

I always say if I was near you we would have swaped in a relay, and if that didn't do it, we would have swpaed in a Module to see if that corrected the problem..

Hope you get it solved...

If you do go to the yard and they ask what the box is, just say I was told I needed the illumination Module with 3 connectors...

I called the junkyard and he had one, and wanted $50 for it. Not a bad price, so I picked it up and installed it and the interior lights came on and the door locks worked as well. I found a paper clip and the connector under the dash (thanks Techinfo!) and plugged it in and got the lock/unlock sequence I expected. Pushed a button on the remote, and...

Nothing.

My father-in-law gave me the car and said he had put new batteries in the fob, but I went to Wal-Mart and got some new ones just to be sure.

BINGO!!
