Can you try the door handles during the I/O test?
I think the interior lights come on via switches on the door handles. The door ajar would have to use a different switch.

Any ideas? I checked the connections on the MALL and they all seem to be tight.

Thanks again

It looks like all the switches are working properly. Might be time to get a new (JY) mall.

Will a MALL from any matching year donor car work or does it need to be the same trim level?

Jack has a good question, also is it model-specific or do all H-bodies have the same MALL unit? Also, is there different years? The reason I ask these questions is the selection at my local JY'* isn't too great bonneville-wise.

The Mall shoudl be swappable. The RFA supposedly requires programming.

Once you get under the passenger dash and see the modules, they are merely held to the plastic by a tab. Push in on the tab and wiggle the module off the plastic frame. Unhook connectors.

I'll be sure to post as to the outcome, and thanks to all who gave assistance
