the first one lasted about 2 years......so i have 6 different ones in 2 years.....

if i was going to be driving the car i would put an optima in it...but since its gonna be sitting i dont even care anymore

The battery in our 89 only lasted 16 months & we recently discovered a significant battery drain. It has me wondering if the constant draining & recharging could shorten the life of a battery. You might want to attach a meter & see how much current is being used when the car is off.

Leda Acid batteries HATE to be discharged severly. You get the formation of particles on the lead plates in the battery and that stops that current flow.
