Default Help--Multiple Issues, 97 SSE

I recently took my stock radio out, as my cd player broke, and put in an aftermarket one. I spliced the Bose factory wire from the car onto the ground wire with the new radio. Lost the steering wheel radio controls as suspected. However, my antenna doesn't go up anymore. The ant wire is connected fine, and after about 2-3 minutes of the car on, you hear the antenna motor whirring. Any suggestions before I manually crank the antenna permanently up?

Another what I believe to be wiring issue..my heat has gone out. The electronics all show that heat is on, but I get none of it...until I honk my horn??? Yes, my heater suddenly miraculously works when I honk the horn. Sounds like a wiring problem but I'm not sure what.

Thanks a lot guys.

I think you need to pull that HU back out and see if you might have inadvertantly cut some wires.
