Default Headlight Switch Override

Is there a factory headlight switch override that I am not seeing? Wondering if we can sit at night with just the parking lights on while ignition is in run.

Think my 97 p/u didn't have a way to override, my 00 does.

I saw Murdocks post about disabling through lack of ground. Just wondering if we have any way from the factory.

You must have daytime running lamps. AFAIK there isn't one, but if you're in park, click the parking brake down and they should go out. Otherwise you're stuck with the procedure Drifter came up with. All the DRL cars (98 Yukon, 01 Camry) in my house have no DRL disable switch or procedure.

Good luck!
