Headlight Switch Override

Is there a factory headlight switch override that I am not seeing? Wondering if we can sit at night with just the parking lights on while ignition is in run.

Think my 97 p/u didn't have a way to override, my 00 does.

I saw Murdocks post about disabling through lack of ground. Just wondering if we have any way from the factory.

umm ya?? :D

turn off your twilight sentinel and pull the headlights only to the first notch... parking lights mode...

You must have daytime running lamps. AFAIK there isn't one, but if you're in park, click the parking brake down and they should go out. Otherwise you're stuck with the procedure Drifter came up with. All the DRL cars (98 Yukon, 01 Camry) in my house have no DRL disable switch or procedure.

Good luck!

No DRL's in 95. Least not on my car...that was Canadian only.

Twilight off and pull eh? K... will give it a try. hehehe... I even read the stupid manual and couldn't find it.

It's a no brainer  But something I could see someone missing.

ya the first noch is for the Parking only, and the fogs if they are switched on, and then the next is all the lights
