Default Foglight wire colors

I just bought a set of new foglights for my 02 SSEI. I attached them to the stock brackets and will be using the stock wiring. I was wondering about the wire colors. I'm assuming the purple wire is positive and the black negative, correct? Thanks...........

What brand fog lights are those? Did you have to modify stock brackets to fit new lamps?

they look like cyber whites.

all you have to do is screw the cyberwhite bracket to the stock one.

Yes, there Cyberwhites by Pilot. I removed the stock lights and aiming screws and drilled two holes in each bracket. Then I mounted the new brackets to the stock ones using stainless bolts/washers/nuts.

Alright, sounds good. Do you still have use of the adjuster oem wing nuts for elevation? How'* the diameter of the new lights compared to the old oem'*? I'm thinking about doing the same mod to my rig.

The lights are easy to adjust with the new brackets, so I removed the OEM adjuster. There slightly smaller by about a quarter of an inch. Heres a pic.

Those Cyberwhites look good. Let us know what kind of light projection you get in front of the car as compared to the stock. The stock lights are really just ornamental, no functional value. They dont put out jack for useful light in front of the car.

Mark...it'* well worth changing the lights.

When I did the cyberwhites. I had to use their brackets and the stock plus spacers to get the right height.

Hella Angel eyes fit right into the 92-99 and probably 00+ brackets and use the stock adjusters
