Default Door locks blow

I got a 93 bonnie and the door locks never worked and the interior lights would not come on when you open the door but will come on if u twist the the headlight switch. Funny thing happen a couple of weeks ago the inside lights start to come on when the door is open but if i hit the door lock switch it makes the inside lights go out but they start working again after that. Also the sunroof stopped working for some odd reason a week ago but just started working again the other day but when i hit the door lock button it stopped working again.need help sttuck open. thanks for any help.

sounds like some temprimental fuse...

have you checked all the fuses under the drivers side dash, and under the maxifuse cover in the engine compartment?

could be the body control module?

but you are saying that the problem is coming and going?

bad ground maybe?

Try to illuminate the dome light and activate the locks from the passenger'* door and see what happens. Also, what trim level do you have?

You've checked the fuses in the passenger'* compartment in the relay center too?

Fuse #15 on my '89. Probably the same for you. Take it out, clean it. Seems as though you have a loose connection somewhere, because the courtesy lights, power locks, and the alarm all share the same circuit. Possibly the Sunroof, but I don't have one, so I cannot confirm that.

The headlight switch or the dimmer switch for the interior back-lighting? Maybe the plunger thing for the doors aren't working? Because you can have that switch on and the lights will stay on no matter what [all night long too].

They should have told you where the wire is. If they didn't, Go ask them. They ought to show you for $250....
