Default Does anyone know how to diable the auto door locks?

I don't know what years of GM cars do this, but the door locks on my '96 lock when I shift into gear. My Chrysler doors locked when you got over 10 mph, but the owners manual told how to shut that feature off. I read through my Olds manual (I drive an LS, which is the Bonne'* evil twin sister) and I don't see any instructions on how to shut this feature off.
Does anyone know how to make it quit doing that?

Stick the key in the ignition and turn on with out starting the car. hold down the power door lock switch and on your remote press lock to go through the stages do it once and you should be out of that . If that does not work I'll read the book again.

After I read your post, I looked again in the owner'* manual, and found the instructions on how to change the mode the door locks are in... DOH!
Sorry to waste the bandwidth. :(
Now when I shift into drive, no more door locking! WOO HOO

I have kids. I wish my car WOULD lock like that. My Roadmaster (got totalled in may) did it, and I loved it. Kids in the backseat make the difference.

I've got 2 kids too, just set the child restraint on the rear doors!

It'* so nice to shift into gear without all the doors locking like I've been trapped in a bank vault!
